Lickety Split is an example of the furrows layout for a traditional log cabin quilt. The quilt is made up of just twenty 8-inch finished blocks so it goes together very quickly. Once you know how to use the tool, you can make these blocks in about 15 minutes so you really can finish this quilt in a day!
Tip: Eliminate the math by cutting the strips using the center line on any of the Creative Grids 3-1/2 inch wide rectangles. This white line is at the 1-3/4 inch mark, the width of the strips needed for this tool.
