The technique used in piecing this eight pointed Diamond Chain Star is strip piecing. Seven shades of brown are used for the diamonds, two shades of blue for the diamond chain and star points, and cream for the background. There are no inset seams and is a great project for one who wants to learn how to piece an 8 pointed star.
