This Tractor Quilt was inspired by our annual trip to Grandpa's farm. He loves old tractors. And every quilt show I go to I hear similar stories about riding on a tractor with Dad or Grandpa, about a little boy who LOVES tractors, or my Uncle who collects them. If you have one of these stories then this is the pattern for you. It doesn't have to be in traditional green have some fun with color.

You can also get creative with the Multiple Sizes, Wall 24"x28", Crib 36"x42", and Lap 48"x56". Four of the small size makes a great lap size.

Skill Level: Beginner
This pattern is traditionally pieced and not applique.
The pattern lists fabric yardage, then uses tables to show the number of strips to cut and the number of pieces to cut from those strips. The entire top is then sewn using straight 1/4" seams. The shaping is done with quick corner triangles. If you are comfortable with a rotary cutter and can sew a straight 1/4 inch seam you can put this quilt together.
